Blackberry Cobbler inspired by Stardew Valley
Equipment
- Baking dish, preferably 3-quarts
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- ¾ stick butter melted
- 1¼ cups sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups blackberries
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and use 1/4 stick of the butter to grease a baking dish.
- Mix the sugar, flour, and milk. Whisk in the remaining butter.
- Rinse and dry the blackberries.
- Pour the batter into the dish and sprinkle the berries evenly over the top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the berries.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the cobbler.
- Bake for 10 more minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream and enjoy yourself after a hard day's work.
