Purple Crested Potion of Persuasion - DnD Inspired Cocktail
Ingredients
Simple Syrup
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
Drink
- 1 tsp simple syrup or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp purple sugar
- 1 ½ part vodka
- 1 part blue curacao
- 1 part lemon and lime juice mixed
- 1 part cran-grape juice
- 1 part grenadine
- 3 maraschino cherries
Instructions
- If you are making your own simple syrup, combine the sugar and water in a pot and boil until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Save what you don't use for up to 1 month in the fridge.
- Rim a glass with a paper towel wet with simple syrup or lemon juice. Spread some purple sugar on a plate and place your glass rim-down into the sugar. Give it a slight shake to get it thoroughly coated and set the glass aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, mix all the drink ingredients with a few large cubes of ice. Shake for 10 seconds.
- Place some fresh ice into your glass and pour the drink in, straining out the ice in the shaker. Serve with some speared maraschino cherries.
- Serve to adventurers before they need to bribe a guard to look the other way during their next heist!
