Notes
This recipe came largely unaltered from Heroes' Feast (Dungeons & Dragons): The Official D&D Cookbook. In keeping aligned with our Quest, we chose not to list the exact instructions here in order to promote purchasing from the original creators. Here we give a list of ingredients and a diary of what we experienced, learned, and did differently from the recipe. Get the ingredients and follow the video to experiment and make your own version of the recipe, or buy the book from our above affiliate link to support the authors and us at the same time!At the time of this writing, this is currently our favorite recipe from the book, perhaps a bit by accident. When making this we used 3 tbsp of butter with the onions and that might have come through on the end product. The meatballs were buttery, juicy, and amazing. So we definitely advise going big on the butter for the onions. When we were going to remake this recipe, we forgot to pick up onions. We tried subbing in bacon because its got some texture and butteriness to it, but sadly it wasn't nearly as good as the original with the onions. Perhaps as an addition with the onions. The gravy is really really good. I personally love a ton of sauce so next time I make this I will probably double the amount of gravy so that each meatball can be slathered. Thanks for stopping by the Everhearth Inn Kitchen! Happy adventuring and remember you will always be welcome here!
