Cuisine French
Keyword brie, butter, cheese, honey
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Servings 8 dragonborn

Ingredients

  • 8 oz brie
  • 2 tbsp butter salted
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • (optional) honeycomb see notes
  • french baguette or crackers for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F (177C).
  • Place the brie in an oven-safe dish. Score the top of the brie.
  • Melt the butter. Spoon the melted butter on top of the brie. Spoon 2 tbsp of the honey on top as well, and then slightly swirl the butter and honey.
  • Bake the brie, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Remove the brie from the oven and let cool for a couple minutes.
  • Drizzle the rest of the honey on top of the brie. Add some small chunks of honeycomb to the top as well, if desired.
  • Serve with sliced baguette or crackers, or shove into your pockets to consume later during intense combat!

Notes

Honeycomb has a chewy, somewhat waxy, texture. Although I enjoy it, it is not for everyone. This recipe will taste just as good without the honeycomb if you prefer to go without it!
