Ingredients

Sweet Corn

  • 4 ears Sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Garlic Chive Butter

  • 2-3 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1-2 tbsp chives finely chopped
  • 1 stick salted butter room temperature

Instructions

Sweet Corn

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add in the sugar and lemon juice.
  • Remove the husk and silk from the corn. Cut each ear of corn into 3 pieces.
  • Place the sweet corn into the boiling water. Turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let the corn cook in the hot water until it is tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the corn from the pot, plate, and serve!

Garlic Chive Butter

  • Once the butter has reached room temperature and is soft, add all of the ingredients to a small bowl. Mix the butter using a fork, and fully incorporate the garlic and chives.
  • Once mixed, place the butter in a serving bowl. If you aren't using it right away, place the butter on some plastic wrap, roll it up into a tube, and place in the fridge for later.
  • Plate the butter with the sweet corn and eat by itself, or as a side for our Hearty Pork Shoulder Roast!
